Hi Rowers , as per email sent, DO TAKE NOTE that the training on 030110 will be sea training instead.Please be present at Kallang Water Sports Centre bt 1530hrs for warm-up before hitting water by 1600hrs.

Please ensure that you have plenty of rest and hydrate yourself well cause training willl be tough in preprataion for MR500 in upcoming March 2010.

Well Done Dragons !!

Well Done dragons !!! It was an outstanding performance in the 29th Singapore River Regatta 2009 held at the Singapore River.Though we did not make it to finals :) , we had good timings and it was a good experience for both old and new rowers alike.

Sunday Training 27.09.09

Please be present at Sengkang Community Club at 5pm in running attire for a short jog to Sengkang Sports Centre for circuit training in preparation for the upcoming 5 men crew race in October.

For those who are unsure about the location of Sengkang Community Club, it is located next to Compass Point/Sengkang MRT station.

For those who are unable to attend the training session, please do let Peter be informed..

Event - SDBA/Taman Jurong CSC/PA Water Venture 5 Men Crew Dragon Boat Race

Dear rowers, Im sure by now all you would have received Peter's email with regards to the above event.We will be training for the race to be held on sat and sun 10/11 Oct 09.

Each team will race a distance of 250 meters. Each team consists of 4 paddlers and 1 steersman.

The events that we would be taking part in :

1 ) National Championship (Men)

2 ) Inter-Business Houses & Clubs (Open)

3 ) PA Constituency Invitational (Open)

Do read the rules and regulations sent to all of you pertaining to the event and do return the filled indemnity form to Peter on the next training, Sun 13th Oct 09.

Hi rowers !! National day is just round the corner and it falls on a sunday meaning a long weekend break.Do enjoy the festivites and the fireworks.

Once Again...MAKAN !?!?!?! CHIAK !?!?!?!...BARBEQUE !?!?!?!

Yet Once again !! Our favourite past time !! Don't we all ?? A reward for all the rowers of Punggol Central CSC Dragonboat for the hard work,time and effort put in for the recent Dragonboat Festival 2009 held at Marina Barrage.

Food and drinks were shared and passed around.Jokes were shared and laughters were heard and cheerings too.Photographs were taken.Lots of it.Simply beautiful.Such is life.Loved it !!! =)

DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL 2009

We tried hard.Though we lost, we tried.But hey, its a good exposure and experience.Not anyone had the strength and stamina to row 800m ? We did !!

The atmosphere was simply fantabulous with the nations hottest bods dotting every corner.Spirits were high since its the first time such a festival was held at one of our country's iconic structure - MARINA BARRAGE .

Weather did dampen everything but the race still goes on.ROWERS READY ?!?!?!?! BANG !?!?!?! Off the various boats go to the finishing line in hoping of coming in first.Such an adrenaline is simply priceless !

MAKAN TIME !!!

Its BARBECUE Time !!!

We were duly rewarded with a sumptuous buffet BBQ at East Coast Park.Treats of otah, satay, chicken wings,marshmellows, bak kua,chicken/mutton chops,bacon,finger foods and prawns were just some of the spread that we had.

Not including various drinks, games, lotsa photo-taking,cycling,roller-blading and our tradition .... monthly birthday celebrations and for the month we had Roland Khew and Irene Tee celebrating their birthday.HAPPY BIRTHDAY !! .To sum it all up WE HAD FUN !!!
