MR500 on 19/20 March 2011
Hey rowers,
Yeah...Im bck again....Okay...the race is next week at Marina Resevoir.Time to be made known in the next few days after the managers' briefing.
Pls do stay healthy, sleep well before each trainings and of course..maintain your physical fitness cos 500m race is not so easy…
The objective for this race is for you all to enjoy rowing..feel good rowing…enjoy the friendship & lastly we MUST BEAT last year results.
2-way transport will be arranged depart SengKang CC on both race days (timing will be known after team Mgr briefing on this wed), so do let Peter know this Sun if you taking the transport or going on your own.
Last but not least, the venue for last training before the race will revert to the original location ie Kallang Water Sports Centre due to operational requirements.

BBQ
We done well in yesterday PA DB race with our best timing of 1min 28sec in CSC heats, qualify to Finals in Active Agers race and came in 4th in Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC race.
Well done guys & gals….
BBQ is confirmed on this Sat tmr 10 July 10 at 6pm onwards at Blk 223B/223C, Compassvale Road and do pay $10 to either Peter or Daniel.Those who have paid, thanks.

PA Race Sunday 4th July 2010
Ladies n Germ, first of all, thank you for last week full attendance.It's heartening to see commited rowers.
This sunday would be the race.Do take care of yourself.Time and venue will be made known soon.Do check your email for more information.
Do be informed that we wld be taking 3 weeks leave after the race.Training will commence on 01 Aug 2010 in preparation for 5men crew race to be held on 9 and 10 October 2010.More details will be revealed as the day draws near.
Lastly, the CSC needs our help in becoming road marshallers for the upcoming One Community cum Sports Carnival event to be held on 25th July 2010 at Sengkang CC 0730hrs.Do let Peter know if you wish to be part of the community involvement.

Well done dragons...
Its about time the blog is up and running once again..
A job very well done to our active aging dragons ...Timing was more than satisdactory and it was definitely better than last year & during our trainings.
See all of you this coming Sunday 2 May 10 same time, same place as we will train for 200m sprint (race to be held on 15 & 16 May 10).
For our dragon ladies, please continue to train with us & prepare for July 4 PA race and please do encourage your female friends to row with us.

Job Well Done Dragons !!...
Good job rowers, attendance have been good for the past few weeks.Keep it up !! Training intensity has indeed increased but that would only work to our benefit.
As per Keith's email this Sunday 07.02.10, will be our last traing before we take a break for Chinese New Year on the 14.02.10.
For the new rowers, your enthusiasm is indeed commendable.Hope to have all of you in our future trainings.
